I like that G'n R always credited The Replacements as an early influence, especially simply being themselves, keeping it real, not faking anything, no phony smiles or painted on costumes. And oddly, not caring about money or fame. If they felt the vibe, the show was gonna be awesome. If not, Rose would likely throw a fit, cuss someone out or throw a punch and the show would be over. Small wonder one of the surviving Replacements played on Axl's second generation of G'n R. I guess that's why they had grudging respect for Nirvana, too. Authenticity, man - this is a serious revolution.

Howard has turned into a TDS, woke fool..he always was a stupid dumbxxx. Daryl is a class act. I was always a rocker,but I love Hall & Oates... fantastic vocals, and his band is phenomenal. Loved Live from Daryl's House...he is a great musician and vocalist..the total package.

Honestly this is such a dick move from Stern. Kept putting Slash under pressure to say something bad about Axl, but to no result. In the End it didn’t matter because he left a year later, but still well played to Slash for keeping his cool and not letting the problems they obviously had into public. If I would’ve been in his position I would’ve just left the interview angry. But I mean like what do you expect from an a-hole like Howard Stern.

The interviewor is cold and callous and argumentative, and because of that, I'm not subscribing to this channel. Steven ✨️ proved her and her listeners wrong if they side with her. He's worth $150 million dollars in 2023 and probably more to escalate in years to come !!

Watching this 2003 interview today, in July 2024, is sad. They were talking about how much they endured together and still came out of it at the other end, without breaking up. And now... they broke up a couple of months ago after 50 years together. What an incredible band, and so many amazing hits. They were the first rock act I saw in concert, back in August of '83. They were awesome back then, and they got even better throughout the rest of the 80s. I hope they find a way to settle their differences and re-unite someday.
